Here you'll find answers to our most frequently asked questions.
Do you take insurance?
We currently take the following insurances:
United Healthcare/The Empire Plan
**Please note, insurance only covers virtual one-on-one visits. Messaging support and meal planning are not included and will be billed as separate fee-for-service rates.
How long do clients usually work with you?
Clients looking for weight loss or body composition change typically work with me for 6-9 months. We work in incremental change (baby steps) to form new habits and create long-term success. This process usually takes about 6-9 months to see the best results.
How do you see clients?
We see clients through tele-health appointments. These look and feel like a video chat, but are done through a HIPPA compliant platform. You will receive a link to join the visit and any handouts will be emailed to you.
Why work with a Registered Dietitian?
A Registered Dietitian is your go-to resource for questions related to food and nutrition. We are trained in how food interacts with your body and different disease states. A Registered Dietitian provides science-backed, evidence-based interventions to help you reach your health goals.
